Where the deer and the antelope play...
I'm glad to see that all of y'all that have posted seem to be having an awesome time. Here's my bit of an unorganized and rambling update: Jackson Hole is quite awesome. The office i'm working in is really homey (dogs and ping pong table) and I've also taken a job teaching tennis. Play/fun is definately a priority for everyone that lives here. I've been getting into the Tetons several times a week and surrounding national forest land the rest of the time. There's plenty of time after work (we're not allowed to stay past five) to fish/kayak/hike/go shooting/bike (road/mountain)/bbq/backcountry ski and snowboard/throw horseshoes/float down the creek every day. I'm living with six hella fun boys and a dog--i've always wanted a dog. (All the dogs here are big, healthy, and never on a leash...none of those philly ankle biting dogs in little purses here). Two of the boys are river guides which means free rafting and booze cruising whenever. We actually did a whitewater stretch last night after midnight through the canyon guided by moonlight...no headlights needed. I've also learned to dirt bike and have been fulfilling all of my motocross fantasies i never knew i had :)
I really hope this summer is somewhat representative of what 'real life' , outside the confines Meyerson, can be...because that would be sweeeeeeeeeeet.
Keep posting--I miss you guys
And to all you Australia-bound folk: Just one request--Bring back some Tim Tams!!!! I've been craving them for a couple of years now.
Wandering around the park..
