one small step for design

as per the usual use of my free-time, i've been reading and tracking down design on the web- so yesterday i found nasa's 70's archive of space-colony design. and i ask myself, 'why am i interested in landscape as we know it when, i could aid the imperial distribution of the species across space-scapes???' clearly, it is a far, far better thing that I might do, than I have ever done. alas- i am chronically tooo late in discovering my dreams (i really, really hope that the school programs have been discontinued- wasn't that money better spent on star-wars?). but for anyone else who wants to see how awesome (A W E S O M E!) it could be scheme-ing up new colonies go to: http://www.nas.nasa.gov/About/Education/SpaceSettlement/70sArt/art.html.

btw- anyone up for an oprah style design reading group (i need to debate about all this discouse i'm ingesting), just with more scarcasm, pointed criticism, and no heart-felt endings??? like all soft and cuddly and parasitic?? hmmmm....
